We are delighted to have you and your family as part of our neighborhood. Whether you are a new homeowner or a long-time resident, we want to extend a warm welcome and provide some helpful information about our community and the West Prairie Village I Homeowners Association (WPV-HOA).

📝 About the WPV-HOA

The WPV-HOA is a non-profit organization formed to help maintain and enhance the quality, safety, and appearance of our neighborhood. The HOA is fully managed and operated by a volunteer Board of Directors, who are also fellow homeowners.
The current Board consists of:

• President – Oversees Board activities and represents the HOA in community and city matters.

• Vice President – Supports the President and assists with project coordination.

• Treasurer – Manages the HOA’s finances, including budgeting, dues, and vendor payments.

• Secretary – Maintains meeting records, correspondence, and official documents.

• Community Services Manager – Coordinates neighborhood communications, events, and services.

🌿 What the HOA Does

The primary responsibilities of the Board and HOA include:

• Managing and maintaining common areas within the neighborhood.

• Coordinating with vendors and contractors for services such as lawn mowing, landscaping, and snow removal in designated areas.

• Overseeing neighborhood projects to preserve and enhance community spaces.

• Upholding the Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&Rs), as well as neighborhood rules and regulations, to help maintain property values and community standards.

• Serving as a resource for residents with questions about neighborhood policies, dues, or community initiatives.

The HOA plays a vital role in protecting the investment of all homeowners, fostering a safe and attractive community, and ensuring that neighborhood standards are consistently maintained. Your involvement, whether by attending meetings, volunteering for projects, or simply staying informed, helps keep our community strong and vibrant.

• Community Meetings: The Board convenes with all 122 households on an annual basis to present key accomplishments from the preceding year and to outline strategic plans for the year ahead.

Additionally, Board Members meet monthly to address time-sensitive matters related to the HOA. Meeting notices, agendas, and minutes are published on the HOA website as they become available.
